Your Path to Wellness

A man receiving a back massage, laid on a therapy couch.

Reiki

Reiki is a passion of mine and has been since receiving my first ever session in 2007, going on to become a practitioner in 2008 and then eventually a teacher of this wonderful complementary therapy.

It is a gentle, hands on technique that leaves you feeling deeply relaxed and soulfully nurtured.

Developed by Mikao Usui over a 100 years ago, it utilises specific techniques to relax, revitalise and restore the mind, body and spirit to equilibrium. When we release stress our body begins to function properly, relieving digestive issues, tension headaches, aches and pains and much more. When our mind is calm and relaxed we sleep better, anxiety reduces, we can think more clearly. When our body and mind are balanced our spirit takes the lead and we begin to live more positively, we no longer react, we are calm and centred in our decisions.

In a Reiki session you can expect to receive 45 minutes of uninterrupted you time, lying (or seated) on a therapy couch, fully clothed, wrapped in soft blankets with some relaxing music playing in the background, with each session being tailored to your specific needs.

Relieving stress, regulating the nervous system, releasing tension and reducing pain. These are just a few of the benefits of a good massage.

A full body massage is a great way to take some time out for yourself, treating your body to better circulation, improved posture, a better nights sleep and a boost to your immunity.

You can expect to receive a massage from tip to toe, front and back in this hour long appointment of uninterrupted you time, paying particular attention to any problem areas you may have.

Meridian Massage

A meridian massage is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) stimulating acupressure points in the body to allow  free flow of Qi, our vital life force, throughout our meridian system.

Meridians are pathways throughout our body, they are our fascia, a type of connective tissue linking everything in our body, creating a super highway of electrical pulses allowing Qi to move freely creating health. If a meridian is out of balance it can cause illness and discomfort.

A meridian massage is beneficial for:

  • Reducing chronic pain & muscle tension
  • Improving energy levels
  • Aiding detoxification
  • Boosting the immune system
  • Depending on where the massage is focused it can also relieve headaches, resolve insomnia or improve digestive issues.

A meridian massage is tailored to your needs, applying pressure through the use of palms, knuckles, fingers or tools to specific acupressure points and techniques such as kneading, long strokes or rubbing along the meridian pathway to elicit balance within the body.

Back, neck & shoulder massage

We hold so much stress and tension in our neck, shoulders and back due to prolonged periods at a desk, carrying the weight of the world around with us or over doing it in the gym perhaps.

A massage focused specifically in these areas can help release stress, tension and pain from the body, improving circulation and removing toxins so that the body can come back into balance.

Cupping

Cupping is a therapeutic technique used to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Using gentle suction created by specialized cups placed on the skin, cupping helps draw stagnant blood and fluids to the surface, promoting fresh circulation and releasing deep-seated tension.

It's particularly effective for areas like the back, shoulders, and legs—making it popular for treating tight muscles, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Dry cupping is non-invasive leaving only temporary marks that indicate where circulation has been restored.

Many clients find cupping deeply relaxing and notice improved mobility, reduced pain, and faster recovery after just a few sessions.

Gua Sha

Gua sha is a traditional healing technique that uses gentle scraping of the skin, using a smooth edged tool, to release tension, increase circulation, and promote natural healing. It’s especially effective for relieving pain and tightness in the back, neck, shoulders, and IT band—areas commonly affected by stress, overuse, or poor posture.

By breaking up stagnation and encouraging blood flow, gua sha helps reduce muscle stiffness, improve range of motion, and speed up recovery from strain or injury. Many clients experience immediate relief, along with a deep sense of relaxation.

Whether you're dealing with chronic discomfort or acute soreness, gua sha offers a powerful, natural way to restore comfort and mobility.
